Special Structurally Bonded Lengths Of Tube

At Alternative Plastics we stock a wide range of acrylic tubes from 2 metre lengths and can even get some tubes in 4 metre lengths!

However, occasionally very long lengths of large diameter cylinders are needed that are not available as standard.

We are able to offer our customers a high quality bonding service which produces a clear, strong join, free from inclusions & bubbles. We then deliver the bonded tube so that you can continue with the fabrication of your item.

The photo shown above is of a 3 metre length tube which we bonded for Alton Towers. The tube was used to construct a Coca-Cola display with plasma lighting.

We can also offer technical advice on which tube will best suit your application especially if you are looking for aquarium quality bonds to withstand water pressures.
